Mentoring

Each new hire is assigned to a mentor who assists in familiarizing the employee with our policies, procedures and software. The mentor acts as a counselor by giving career advice and direction to help the employee progress and attain career goals.

A mentor may also share experiences, make recommendations regarding training, type of work and/or specialty areas and assist in developing career goals and the steps needed to achieve them.

The mentor understands the new employee's career and personal objectives and helps to match those goals with those of the firm.

Entry Level Accountant

Certified Public Accountants | Business Consultants

We are seeking a staff accountant who is ambitious, energetic and working toward a CPA license. The position will include all phases of audit, review, compilation and tax engagements for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, service, retail and distribution.

The right person for the position must have 1–3 years of public accounting experience and possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, excellent computer skills and proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of ProSystem fx, QuickBooks and/or Peachtree accounting software is preferred.

We offer a flexible work schedule, competitive salary, signing bonus, and excellent benefits package including generous time off and commissions on new business. Some local travel may be required.

Senior Accountant - Audit and Tax

Certified Public Accountants | Business Consultants

We are seeking a highly motivated senior accountant with leadership skills and recent public accounting experience. The senior accountant will be involved in all phases of audit engagements, and oversee review, compilation and tax engagements for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, service, retail and distribution.

Responsibilities will include consulting with clients, assisting them with compliance issues, developing and managing staff, and working closely with partners and staff on client management and business development activities.

Required skills and experience include a bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license; 3+ years’ recent experience in public accounting; exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships; strong leadership skills coupled with excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills; and solid computer skills. Experience in the use of ProSystem fx Engagement and Tax, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Peachtree and RIA Checkpoint software is helpful.
